French President Emmanuel Macron will host a solemn reception at the Palace of Versailles in honor of US President Donald Trump after the G7 summit.

Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that this was announced by the Élysée Palace.

The official reason for the reception will be the celebration of the 250th anniversary of US independence.

The Élysée Palace stated that the Palace of Versailles is considered an important symbol of Franco-American friendship due to the signing of the treaty formalizing US independence here in 1783.
