European Council President Antonio Costa has announced the decision to postpone the EU-UK summit, which was scheduled to be held on July 22, following the resignation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Costa said at a press conference, "we will have to postpone it now."
Costa hopes that Starmer's successor will continue to work on a course of rebuilding relations between the EU and Great Britain.
It should be recalled that the summit planned to discuss issues of cooperation between the kingdom and the union, especially those related to agriculture and trade.
On June 22, Starmer announced his intention to resign.
