US President Donald Trump said that they will seek a way to reach an agreement between Ukraine and Russia at the NATO Summit that will start today in Turkey.
Modern.az reports that Trump, speaking to journalists at the White House, talked about the Russia-Ukraine war: "We will go to NATO, we will discuss the issue, and I think we will do it."
Trump reiterated his hope that he would succeed in stopping the war between the two countries: "I think we are very close to ending the war in Ukraine. Both Russian and Ukrainian leaders want to reach an agreement."
Touching upon the importance of UAVs, one of the main weapons of the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump said: "Who would have thought that drones would become such a big factor? They disable heavy equipment. This is incredible. You hide behind a tree and it comes and finds you. And I have seen scenes I don't want to see, and I don't want you to see them either."
