The number of people who lost their lives due to Ebola virus disease in the Democratic Republic of Congo has exceeded 500.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that 1,561 confirmed cases of infection have been registered in the country so far.
According to official data, 253 people have recovered. The overall mortality rate is 32.4 percent, and the level of tracing of people who have been in contact with patients has reached 81.6 percent.
