Khamenei's three sons attended the funeral, but his heir Mojtaba was not seen
Modern.az reports that three sons of Iran's killed supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended the funeral prayer in front of their father's coffin. However, his heir and Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei was not seen at the ceremony.
Iranian state television broadcast images showing Mostafa, Meysam, and Masoud Khamenei praying in front of the coffins placed in the courtyard of the Grand Musalla Mosque in Tehran.
During the ceremony, Masoud Khamenei could not hold back his tears. He wiped his tears with a checkered keffiyeh, considered a symbol of revolutionary ideals and solidarity with Palestinians in Iran, while the imam led the funeral prayer.

No new photos or videos of Mojtaba Khamenei, who was reportedly injured in the attack on February 28 that killed his father and other family members, have been released to the public so far.
According to Reuters, citing sources close to Mojtaba Khamenei, his face was severely damaged in the attack, and he also suffered serious injuries to one or both of his legs.
