Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can come to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin as soon as he is ready to make responsible decisions.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov said that if Zelensky expresses his readiness to come to Russia in this way, the Kremlin would welcome it.
He made these remarks on the air of "Komsomolskaya Pravda" radio, commenting on Zelensky's proposal to meet with Putin in Konstantinovka.
Peskov reminded that the Russian President had previously stated his readiness to receive Zelensky in Moscow and added that the capital of Russia is Moscow, not Konstantinovka.
It should be recalled that Volodymyr Zelensky, in a statement shared on his social media account, called Putin's claim that Konstantinovka had allegedly come under the control of the Russian army a lie.
Zelensky added that if Konstantinovka is indeed under Russian control, then Putin can meet him there to discuss diplomatic solutions to end the war.
"If Konstantinovka is now under Russian control, then Putin probably would not have a problem meeting me there and finally finding diplomatic solutions that will end the war. But he will not cross the front line, because the truth is completely different from what Putin says," Zelensky noted.
