About 2 billion manats will be allocated from the state budget for the implementation of the State Program for the development of agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture in 2026–2030.
Modern.az reports that Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev said this while answering questions from deputies regarding the draft law "On the execution of the state budget for 2025" at the plenary meeting held within the framework of the extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the minister, agriculture is one of the priority directions of the non-oil sector, and every year significant financial resources are allocated to this sector from the state budget through subsidies, concessions and other support mechanisms.
Sahil Babayev stated that the "State Program for the development of agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture for 2026–2030" was approved by the order of the President of Azerbaijan dated May 25, 2026.
