The number of people who died as a result of the spread of Ebola fever in the Democratic Republic of Congo reached 492.
Modern.az reports that this was reported in the latest report on the epidemiological situation published by the country's authorities.
The report noted that a total of 1528 confirmed Ebola infections have been detected so far within the last wave of infection that started on May 15.
Currently, 628 people with confirmed infection are isolated or receiving treatment in hospitals. At the same time, 239 people were reported to have recovered and been discharged home.
