A 21-year-old Azerbaijani girl was killed after torture in Tbilisi
Modern.az reports with reference to local media that on June 26, 2026, the p of Azerbaijani Fatima Karimova, born in 2005, was found in a rented apartment in Tbilisi.
According to the information, Fatima came to Georgia to live and work with her boyfriend. It is reported that the girl's family members were against this relationship and threatened them.
According to allegations, after some time, financial difficulties arose, and her boyfriend left Fatima alone on the street without documents, a phone, or money, and left the area.
While on the street, Fatima met another girl. That person contacted her relatives. Later, Fatima's cousin Emin Aliyev came to Tbilisi and took her with him, allegedly to help her.
However, according to allegations, he kept Fatima in the apartment for about two weeks, regularly beating and torturing her. Then he strangled her to death.
After the incident, Emin Aliyev fled the scene. According to information, he is believed to have fled to Turkey and is currently wanted.
It was reported that Fatima Karimova lost both her parents, and only her 19-year-old sister survived from the family.
