Modern.az reports with reference to "The Independent" that the 40-year-old football player is taking this step together with the investment group "Five Eleven Capital".
According to the information, the total value of the deal is estimated at approximately 400 million euros (347 million pounds sterling). According to the planned agreement, the consortium will acquire 80 percent of the club's shares. The price of each share is reported to be around 3,500 euros. The consent of La Liga and the Spanish National Sports Council is required for the deal to be formalized.
It should be noted that "Sevilla", which has been continuously playing in La Liga since the 2001/02 season, is currently going through difficult days in the tournament table.
