Ghanaian shaman Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who came to the fore with his controversial statements during the World Cup in Qatar, has once again attracted the attention of the football community.
Modern.az reports that, according to "AS" publication, the shaman, who once claimed to have "cursed" England national team captain Harry Kane, this time announced his prediction for the winner of the 2026 World Cup.
According to Bonsam, the main trophy of the World Cup will go to the Portuguese national team.
"This World Cup will belong to Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal," he said. He also noted that Argentina will lose to Cape Verde in the next stage.
The shaman also commented on his previous statements about Harry Kane. He emphasized that he no longer has any negative feelings towards the English striker.
"Harry Kane is not my enemy. I will name one of my children, who will be born soon, after him," Bonsam noted.
When asked if he would apply a new "curse" against Kane's opponents, the Ghanaian shaman simply laughed.
Bonsam had previously claimed that the magical ritual he performed before the match between England and Ghana would affect the outcome of the match. Now, he says that he has completely abandoned those ideas and that his attitude towards Harry Kane has changed.
Another statement by the Ghanaian shaman aroused even more interest. He claimed that the reason for the Turkish national team's unsuccessful performances in World Cups was an accidental mistake that occurred during his ritual.
"To be honest, it was a big mistake. I had prepared a special ritual to weaken Ghana's opponent. But during the ritual, my student holding the map slipped, and the energy was directed in the wrong direction, affecting Turkey," Bonsam said.
