In January-March 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 11.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2025, reaching 862 million US dollars. During this period, food product exports increased by 25.1%, amounting to 281 million US dollars.

Modern.az reports that this information was reflected in the April issue of the “Export Review” for 2026 by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

It is stated that in January-March of the current year, exported sugar increased by 4.5 times, cotton yarn by 2 times, fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin by 68.4%, cotton fiber by 43.5%, fruits and vegetables by 22.1%, aluminum and products made from them by 20.4%, tea by 15.1%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 4.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year.

In January-March 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 26.6% to 215.6 million US dollars, and exports of agro-industrial products increased by 27.4% to 88 million US dollars. Overall, the combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 26.8% to 303.7 million US dollars.

During the mentioned period, gold (95.3 million US dollars) was first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. Hazelnuts (68.3 million US dollars) were second, and copper ores (60.8 million US dollars) were third in this list.

In March 2026, gold (34.6 million US dollars) was first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. Cotton fiber (25.5 million US dollars) was second, and tomatoes (18.5 million US dollars) were third in this list.
