In January-April of this year, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Iran amounted to 223 million 563 thousand US dollars.
According to information obtained by Modern.az from the State Customs Committee, in January-March, this indicator was 169 million 532 thousand US dollars for the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Iran.
Thus, during the reporting period, the volume of Azerbaijan's exports to Iran amounted to 6 million 207 thousand 440 US dollars. This was equal to 0.05 percent of total exports.
In the same period, the volume of imports from Iran to Azerbaijan was 217 million 355 thousand 570 US dollars. This indicator accounted for 3.93 percent of total imports.
It should be noted that in January-April 2025, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Iran was 204 million 543 thousand US dollars.
