According to images circulated on social media, individuals wishing to travel from the regions to Baku, although they purchased online tickets for the bus, are unable to board the bus at the bus terminal.
Modern.az reports that, according to claims, due to passenger congestion, some individuals pay on the spot to purchase tickets and are allowed onto the bus. As a result, passengers who had previously obtained online tickets are unable to return to Baku by bus. According to one complainant, although they protested about the issue multiple times, no one paid attention to it.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency issued a statement regarding the matter. It was stated that a certain misunderstanding arose in the initial stage, but the issue has been resolved.
It was noted that the complainant mistook the bus for which they purchased a ticket:
“The citizen obtained a ticket for the next bus and reached their destination via that bus” – it is stated in the announcement.
