According to Modern.az, the number of judges currently operating in the country is 705.
According to the distribution of judges, 36 judges work in the Supreme Court, and 144 judges work in the appellate courts.
In addition, 53 judges work in courts for grave crimes, 24 in military courts, 45 in administrative courts, and 26 in commercial courts.
The largest number of judges falls to the share of district and city courts. Thus, the number of judges in these courts is 377.
