Currently, one of the tasks facing the government is the reconstruction of Karabakh and East Zangezur.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during his speech at the opening ceremony of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The head of our state reminded that Karabakh and East Zangezur were under Armenian occupation for almost 30 years and stated that there were comprehensive destructions there.
Emphasizing that visitors compared Aghdam to Hiroshima, the President noted: “We call it “Hiroshima of the Caucasus”, because the city practically does not exist.”
