The plane carrying Louis Kabamba, the Minister of Industry of the Democratic Republic of Congo, caught fire upon landing at the airport.
Modern.az reports that no one was injured in the incident.
It is reported that there were a total of 20 people on board the plane.
The purpose of the minister's and the delegation's visit was to oversee the rescue operations being carried out at the cobalt mine where a major landslide had previously occurred.
