The Israeli army announced that air strikes were carried out against armed individuals attempting to cross the ceasefire line in the Gaza Strip.
Modern.az reports that the press service of the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement regarding this.
It was stated that the strikes were carried out against several individuals crossing the ceasefire line, located in the northern part of the enclave and referred to as the “yellow line”.
The statement notes that during three separate incidents, the aforementioned individuals approached the positions of the Jerusalem and Northern brigades, operating within the Gaza Division. The Israeli side assessed this as a threat and responded with air strikes.
Palestine's Jerusalem media network, referring to sources associated with the Hamas movement, reported that four people were injured as a result of the firing in the Tuffah district, located north of Gaza City. Further details regarding the incident have not been disclosed.
