"Volkswagen" (VW) and "Cupra" (a subsidiary of Spanish car manufacturer SEAT, part of the "Volkswagen" Group) are recalling more than 94,000 electric vehicles worldwide due to fire risk.
Modern.az reports that the Federal Motor Transport Authority has issued a statement regarding this.
The agency stated that incidents that could lead to fires originated from the battery. Currently, no incidents resulting in injuries due to the identified problem are known.
Recalled "Volkswagen" models include the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, and ID.Buzz produced between June 24 and August 23, 2023. Cupra is recalling its "Born" models produced between February 7, 2022, and April 21, 2024.
