An emergency incident occurred in one of the schools located in the Leninsky district of Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Modern.az reports that, according to information from the local portal "74.RU", students were urgently sent home due to the incident. Emergency medical teams, emergency services, and police officers were deployed to the school premises.
According to parents, a student attending the school attacked a teacher and fired a crossbow. However, as a result of the shot, not the teacher, but another student was injured.
It is reported that the perpetrator then jumped from a window of the school building.
Students also reported experiencing irritation in their throats. It is presumed that pepper spray was used during the incident. It is noted that some students had to barricade themselves in a classroom and hide for some time.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
