Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appealed a court decision against "Hraparak" publication for an article regarding "treason" claims.
Modern.az reports that in the lawsuit he filed last year, Pashinyan stated that the information published in the newspaper's article titled "Is Pashinyan cheating on his wife?" was defamatory. He demanded 2600 dollars in compensation from the newspaper and an indefinite retraction on all platforms.
In March, the court of first instance ordered "Hraparak" to retract the published information, but the demand for material compensation was not satisfied.
The Prime Minister, disagreeing with this decision, appealed to the appellate instance.
