A fire broke out on board the destroyer "USS Higgins" in the zone of the US Indo-Pacific Command, no injuries were reported.

Modern.az reports that "CBS News" TV channel spread information about this, citing sources.

Details about the causes of the fire and the extent of the damage are unknown.

According to the "Marinetraffic" ship tracking service, the destroyer was in Singapore port in February. "USS Higgins" is a support warship to ensure the presence of the US Navy in Asia.
