The cost of the US military operation against Iran is already approaching $29 billion.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Jules Hurst, acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Financial Management.
At the end of April, the Department of Defense stated that the cost of the war with Iran was approximately $25 billion. "We believe that this amount is currently approaching $29 billion," he said at a hearing of the US House of Representatives Appropriations Committee.
As Hurst noted, the updated cost includes expenses for equipment repair and replacement, as well as operational costs for maintaining personnel in the region.
