US President Donald Trump said that he gave Iran a choice: either agree to a deal or be completely destroyed. However, he noted that he did not want the second option.
Modern.az reports that the American leader said this in an interview with "Fox News" TV channel.
"They can either make a deal or they will be destroyed," Trump emphasized.
According to the US President, he initially decided to stop strikes on Iranian territories only at the request of states that have good relations with Tehran.
The owner of the White House added that the US will acquire the enriched uranium located in Iran.
"I would be more comfortable if I got it, and we will get it!" he emphasized.
According to Trump, an alternative option is to bury that uranium in Iranian territory, but this must be done under the control of the American side.
In addition, the US President promised to strike nuclear facilities again if the Iranian side attempts to remove uranium from the country.
"I told them: if we see someone trying to remove uranium, we will just drop a few bombs there and that will be the end of it," Trump warned.
