Great Britain has eased sanctions against Russia. Thus, official London has given indefinite permission for the import of oil products produced from Russian oil in third countries.
According to Modern.az, citing foreign media, Great Britain has approved the import of diesel fuel and aviation kerosene produced from Russian-origin oil.
The license will come into force on May 20, 2026, and will be periodically reviewed by the Minister of Internal Affairs. It was stated that the terms of the permit can be changed, suspended, or canceled at any time.
It should be noted that a similar decision was also adopted by the USA on April 18. The US Treasury Department announced that the license for the sale, transportation, and unloading of Russian oil and products processed from it has been restored.
It was stated that the US side allows operations related to Russian-origin raw materials loaded on tankers until April 17. That document was valid until May 16.
