Iranian Parliament Speaker and head of the delegation for talks with the US, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has made new statements.
Modern.az reports that Ghalibaf spoke at an online session of the Iranian parliament.
Regarding the ongoing talks with the US, Ghalibaf said: "Our soldiers in the field of diplomacy do not trust the enemy's words and promises.
For us, achieving concrete results is the criterion, and in return, we will fulfill our obligations. We will not approve any agreement until the rights of the Iranian people are secured."
Ghalibaf stated that the "enemy" in this new phase of the war is trying to disrupt national unity through economic pressure and media propaganda. Ghalibaf called this a "vain dream" and added that the struggle continues "in the military field, in the streets, in diplomacy, and in serving the people."
The Parliament Speaker said that national unity and strong armed forces are the main factors for success.
