Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
Modern.az reports that the Russian leader was met by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adilbek Kasimaliyev at Manas International Airport.
Vladimir Putin will attend the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games within the framework of the visit.
On September 1, the Russian President will attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), as well as a high-level meeting in the “SCO Plus” format.
Within the framework of the summit, Putin is expected to hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, China, Iran, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Turkey, as well as the prime ministers of Armenia and India.
In addition, during the summit, the next World Nomad Games, planned to be held in Kazan in 2028, are expected to be announced.
It should be noted that Russia will chair the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2027-2028.
