In January-July 2026, the volume of foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to 34 million 64.9 thousand US dollars.
According to calculations made by Modern.az based on official statistical data, during the reporting period, products worth 30 million 30.1 thousand dollars were exported from Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan. The volume of imports from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan was 4 million 34.8 thousand dollars.
Thus, in the first 7 months, Azerbaijan had a positive balance of 25 million 995.3 thousand dollars in trade between the two countries.
Kyrgyzstan's share in Azerbaijan's total exports was 0.16 percent, and its share in total imports was 0.04 percent.
For comparison, it should be noted that at the end of 2025, the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan foreign trade turnover was 77 million 172.4 thousand dollars. Of this, 53 million 752.9 thousand dollars accounted for imports, and approximately 23 million 419.5 thousand dollars for exports.
In addition, in the first 7 months of 2026, Azerbaijan's exports to Kyrgyzstan exceeded the figure recorded for the entire previous year by 28.2 percent.
In 2024, the trade turnover between the two countries was 40 million 64.2 thousand dollars, in 2023 it was 64 million 978.3 thousand dollars, in 2022 it was 10 million 810.2 thousand dollars, and in 2021 it was 9 million 18 thousand dollars. In 2025, the trade turnover increased by approximately 92.6 percent compared to 2024.
