At least 63 people were injured as a result of rocket and drone strikes by Iran on Kuwait International Airport.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Health of Kuwait announced this on its social media accounts.
According to the ministry's statement, among the injured are passengers and airport employees. The injured are provided with necessary medical assistance.
Previously, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Kuwait announced that the passenger terminal of the airport was attacked by Iranian missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait stated that one person died as a result of the incident, and also that the airport suffered serious material damage.
After the attack, all civil flights in the country were suspended.
