Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he will visit Russia after the parliamentary elections.

Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Pashinyan spoke about this during a meeting with voters in Gegharkunik province.

He stated that on June 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin called him to congratulate him on his birthday.

“However, the conversation was not limited to congratulations. We had a business discussion and agreed that we would meet after the elections, discuss and resolve all current issues,” Pashinyan said.

The Armenian Prime Minister also noted that one of his main goals is for his country to always have a choice.

It should be recalled that Putin and Pashinyan discussed the results of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in Astana on May 29 during a telephone conversation on June 1.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, the parties also exchanged views on issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda. Pashinyan thanked Putin for his balanced position and support on a number of issues. The parties agreed to continue discussions in a meeting format in the near future.
