Modern.az reports that Donald Trump stated this in an interview on the "Pod Force One" program on Wednesday.
He justified this opinion with the steps taken by the US against Iran and claimed that those steps prevented Iran from launching a large-scale attack against Israel.
In May, Trump said he might try to become Israel's prime minister after his current term expires.
