Due to a Russian UAV falling on a residential building in Romania, allied countries are strengthening air defense on NATO's eastern borders.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu.
According to the minister, allies are currently considering how to complement existing air defense systems along Romania's 650-kilometer border with Ukraine.
According to the minister, France is increasing support in radar and air surveillance, and Britain, Italy and Spain in air defense. The US is expected to provide only special radar and surveillance capabilities, without extensive troop deployment.
