US President Donald Trump believes he can solve the problem of Iran's uranium enrichment program through diplomatic means.
Modern.az reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this in an interview with CNBC.
Netanyahu noted that he and Trump agree on key issues regarding Iran.
"Trump believes he can solve the problem of uranium enrichment through diplomatic pressure and tough negotiations. I think he should be given a chance," he said.
Netanyahu also admitted that tactical disagreements sometimes arise between the US and Israel. He emphasized that despite all disagreements, the parties always manage to reach an agreement: "Sometimes, as in the best families, we have tactical disagreements. We always find a way to resolve our disagreements."
The Prime Minister noted that the parties manage to reach a common position in a short time: "We may have disagreements in the morning, but by noon we take a common step."
Netanyahu noted that his personal relationship with Donald Trump has not changed: "He respects me, and I respect him."
