Iranian armed forces attacked US military bases in the Middle East in response to the attack on Sirik and Qeshm islands.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Mehr news agency, the statement said: "In response to the US aggression against Sirik and Qeshm islands, its bases in the region were targeted with missile strikes."
