82 flights have been delayed at Russia's Sochi International Airport.
Modern.az reports that this was stated on the airport's online information board.
According to the information, 39 flights were delayed. Delayed flights include Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Astana, Tbilisi, Antalya, Makhachkala, Nadym, Yerevan, Izhevsk, Namangan, Chelyabinsk, Syktyvkar, Murmansk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kazan, Tashkent, Samara, Batumi, Cheboksary, Istanbul and Dalaman. In addition, two flights to Ufa and Nizhny Novgorod, four to Yekaterinburg, and nine to Moscow are delayed.
43 flights scheduled to land in Sochi are also delayed. These are flights from Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Namangan, Novosibirsk, Izhevsk, Omsk, Tashkent, Tbilisi, Bishkek, Makhachkala, Tomsk, Antalya, Yerevan, Cheboksary, Dalaman, Syktyvkar and Nizhny Novgorod. Two flights from Samara, Kazan, Ufa and Surgut, three from Tyumen, four from Perm, five from Moscow and six from Yekaterinburg were delayed.
It should be noted that the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsiya) has recently imposed temporary restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft at Sochi airport. Restrictions have also been imposed at Krasnodar and Gelendzhik airports to ensure flight safety.
