Since the beginning of the ongoing confrontation between the US, Israel and Iran, Donald Trump has made 37 statements about a quick agreement with Tehran.

According to the information, the US president started to voice these claims long before the ceasefire announced on April 8. Trump first announced to journalists on March 23, less than a month after the start of the war, that peace talks were underway. However, at that time, official Tehran strongly denied that any negotiations were being held with Washington.
Since then, the US leader has regularly repeated that Iran is desperate to sign an official agreement. On April 17, Trump claimed that the parties would reach a common denominator in the next day or two and that Iran had agreed to everything.
He last stated in his public speech today, June 9, that the agreement would be signed within the next two weeks. According to Trump, official Tehran is ready for every concession, including giving up its nuclear program.
The TV channel notes that Trump's consistent statements about a quick agreement may be aimed at calming global financial and energy markets.
