The war with Iran has cost Americans $100 billion.
Modern.az reports with reference to "Axios" that since the beginning of the war with Iran - February 28 - the increase in the price of gasoline and diesel fuel in the US has cost consumers approximately $100 billion.
According to calculations by Brown University, each American family has spent an average of more than $760 in additional costs. The total amount continues to increase, rising by approximately $1 million every two minutes.
The largest additional costs fell on the residents of Texas. In the state, this indicator amounted to approximately $11 billion. In California, additional costs were $8 billion, and in Florida, $5 billion.
Against the background of rising fuel prices, the average price of gasoline in the US reached a record high of $4.14 per gallon by Labor Day, and the price of diesel fuel reached $5.85.
