It is alleged that Lilit Makunts, Armenia's former ambassador to the USA and chief advisor to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, will be appointed as the head of the Prime Minister's Office.
Modern.az reports that the "Joghovurd" newspaper published this information, citing government sources.
According to the information, the current Head of the Office, Araik Harutyunyan's leave from July 1-24, is linked to expected personnel changes in government circles.
The publication writes that a number of officials appointed by Harutyunyan have also been sent on leave, while others are awaiting possible personnel decisions.
It was noted that the information about Lilit Makunts heading the Prime Minister's Office has not yet been officially confirmed.
