The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia conducted large-scale raids within the framework of migration control in the country.
Modern.az reports that during the operations, 50 foreign citizens who violated the requirements of migration legislation were detained.
According to the Ministry, among the detained persons are citizens of Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as persons from Asian and African countries.
It was stated that measures are being taken against foreigners who violated the law in accordance with Georgian legislation.
