Arayik Harutyunyan may not remain in the post of head of the Prime Minister's office.
Modern.az reports that the Armenian newspaper "Joxovurd" spread information about this, citing sources in the government.
It was stated that after the parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was dissatisfied with the activities of the election headquarters of the ruling "Civil Contract" Party. It is alleged that there were serious shortcomings in the organization of the election campaign and the collection of information regarding the work of Arayik Harutyunyan, who headed the headquarters.
According to the newspaper, on the eve of the elections, Harutyunyan reported to Pashinyan that the "Civil Contract" would gather approximately 65 percent of the votes and even achieve a constitutional majority. According to sources, this forecast formed political expectations in the Prime Minister that did not reflect reality.
