One of the unmanned aerial vehicles used by Russia during its night attack on Ukraine entered Romanian airspace.
Modern.az reports that the Romanian Ministry of Defense issued a statement about this.
It was stated that the UAV crossed the Romanian border approximately 13 kilometers from the city of Galați. Later, the unmanned aerial vehicle fell into an uninhabited area.
A fire broke out when the UAV crashed. There were no deaths or injuries as a result of the incident, and no damage was recorded.
Two Spanish F-18 fighters and a Romanian military helicopter were scrambled to monitor the situation in the airspace.
Another UAV violated Moldovan airspace that night.
According to Moldovan authorities, the unmanned aerial vehicle entered the country's territory from the direction of Ukraine and flew over the Etulia region of Gagauzia.
The UAV left Moldovan airspace approximately 6 minutes later and headed back towards Ukraine.
