Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Modern.az reports that Fidan shared a post on his “NSosyal” account regarding the meetings he held.
The Minister stated that within the framework of his diplomatic contacts regarding the latest developments in the region, he held telephone conversations with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
“During our meetings, we discussed the problems that arose during the implementation of the peace plan in Gaza and the steps we can take,” Fidan noted.
The Turkish minister stated that the latest developments in Syria were also discussed during the meetings. He noted that they once again emphasized their strong support for the establishment of peace and stability in Syria.
Hakan Fidan added that during the telephone conversations, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the latest situation in the ongoing negotiations between the conflicting parties were also reviewed.
“As three brotherly countries that desire peace and prosperity in our region, we will continue to strengthen our cooperation and coordination in all areas,” Fidan said.
