Iran, not the US, should be blamed for the escalation in the Middle East.
Modern.az reports that Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said this in a statement to journalists.
“We understand that the roots of the conflict are not in what Iran did or did not do, but in the thoughtless and unprovoked aggression carried out by the United States against Iran. I think that Iran was not the party that refused to comply with the agreements reached between the US and Iran with the help of mediators,” he said.
