US President Donald Trump said that one of the factors complicating the achievement of an agreement with Iran is the killing of a large part of the country's leadership.
Modern.az reports that Trump said this in an interview with WABC radio station.
"Part of the problem is that many of Iran's leaders have been killed. It's not easy to reach an agreement. It's not known who runs the country," the US President said.
Trump also stressed that the US has successfully achieved its goals in the conflict with Iran, in particular, they did not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.
