A new special command has been created in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be engaged in coordinating long-range strikes against Russia.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, the new entity is called the Long-Range Impact Command, and its main activity is to carry out strikes on targets in Russian territory.
Zelensky also announced the creation of the Joint Rapid Reaction Forces. It was stated that the new structure will unite the forces under one command.
The commander of the forces has been appointed Dmytro Voloshyn, National Hero of Ukraine, Brigadier General.
