The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that 21 Russian tankers, as well as other cargo and aid ships, were hit in the Sea of Azov.
Modern.az reports that strikes were carried out against the Russian fleet in the waters of the Sea of Azov on the night of July 11.
According to the Ukrainian side, as a result of the strike, 21 tankers used by Russia to transport oil and oil products, bypassing sanctions, were targeted.
In addition, it was noted that 4 tugboats, 2 dry cargo ships, and 1 dredging vessel used in military logistics, cargo transportation, and ensuring the operation of port infrastructure were also hit.
The General Staff did not provide additional information on the results of the operation. The Russian side has not yet commented on these claims.
