At least 11 people have died as a result of a large forest fire in southeastern Spain.
Modern.az reports that 6 more people were injured during the fire, and approximately 1000 residents were evacuated for safety purposes.
Currently, about 150 firefighters continue to fight to contain the flames.
According to local media, this is considered one of the deadliest forest fires recorded in Spain in the last 20 years.
