The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ahmad Vahidi, stated that punishing the perpetrators, planners, and supporters of the attack on the late supreme leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is a “legitimate and unforgettable demand.”
Modern.az reports, citing “Mehr,” that the IRGC commander warned the US leadership and forces opposing Iran in his message.
Ahmed Vahidi stated that Khamenei's spilled blood has placed a permanent responsibility on them.
“Demanding accountability for the blood of the martyrs and punishing the perpetrators, planners, and supporters of this crime is a firm, legitimate, and unforgettable demand.”
The IRGC commander stated that this demand will live on in the historical memory of the Islamic Ummah and the Resistance Front, especially concerning the US army, until justice is fully served and those responsible receive a fitting response.
It should be recalled that Khamenei, who was killed in Tehran on February 28 this year as a result of a US and Israeli air attack, was buried yesterday in Mashhad, Iran.
