Iran has announced that it currently has no intention of negotiating with Washington despite ongoing US attacks, stating that any attack will be responded to with full force.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai at a ceremony in Tehran.

“We currently have no plans to negotiate and have focused our attention on defense,” Baghai said.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that they no longer adhere to the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Tehran and Washington on June 17, citing repeated violations of agreement obligations by the United States:

"The Memorandum is a set of mutual obligations, and if one party violates the agreement, the other party may also refuse to fulfill its obligations. This is a principle, and we will continue to act in this direction. The other side has not shown good faith from the first article of the memorandum and has broken its promises. Our armed forces will respond to any aggressor with full force. If they strike, they will receive a retaliatory strike.”

The diplomat noted that the entire population of Iran supports the policy of resisting US pressure and “violent demands”:
