Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei will not participate in public events during the ongoing military confrontation with the US and Israel.
Modern.az reports that an informed source told TASS about this.
According to the source, the Iranian leadership is waiting for the situation to stabilize. Due to security reasons and ongoing military tension in the region, Mojtaba Khamenei is currently not appearing in public.
It is noted that he is expected to participate in open events again after the conflict subsides and security risks decrease.
Official Tehran has not given further statements on the matter.
